Greetings,

I originally set off to create something nightmarish, disturbing... something
reflecting my mood, perhaps. But as I was working toward my questionable goal, I
realized that the thing I was making actually seemed... friendly. Even cute, in
a weird way.

The creature is composed primarily of spheres generated with a recursive macro
under generalized environmental influences (gravity, water flow).

The shading is based on that old fake SSS technique involving two object copies,
absorbing media and area_lights. The speckled pigment was controlled with a
fastProx2 proximity pattern and the diffuse term was given a little AOI (the AOI
actually broke the SSS effect somewhat, so I might switch to fresnel reflection
if I make another version)

He's still a bit freakish (probably the result a genetic experiment), but he
means well :)

~Sam
